Former generations have lived in one historical
era or period. What I mean is that we had the Rococo age, the Classic age, Victorian era, and so forth. 'Progress'
or 'Innovation' was the art spirit in the twentieth century. Each artistic style represents the given cultural
development. At the beginning of the 21st century, reality is a strange mix of all historical periods combined
with movie reality. For example, how could we understand the fact that we are currently confronted with Saddam Hussein- a
dangerous MUSTACHED dictator? It is not a new reality; mustached dictators belong in the history books of the 20th century.
The cavemen in Afghanistan against the futuristic technology of the US Army are realities from the "Star Wars";
and malicious men in underground organizations not far from the ability to destroy the world can be found in "James Bond"
movies. The reality in which we live today looks more and more like a repetition of the past or an old movie. The journey through the different art styles is my attempt to understand our present time, which consists of all realities
and at the same time is no longer one distinct reality. I would describe the style in which the 'Towers' are painted
a 'reflecting Eclecticism' ("Reclecticism"). I hope that from this point of view they are unique. In any
way these murals are very large.
